HD-5470 is a rugged 4x2 switcher, offering flawless and seamless switching and crystal-clear distribution of all HDTV video formats as well as audio signals. HD-5470 accepts up to four different input sources and you can seamlessly switch (select) any of these inputs to drive either 2 outputs, without any signal degradation. It is universally compatible with all HDTV formats: 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 1080i, 720p and all 1080p. Your Audio can be Left and Right stereo. HD-5470 is a versatile and compact State of the Art switcher of choice when you need high-quality and reliable switching. The HD-5470 can be controlled by its front-panel manual control button, or IR remote, and the convenient front-panel LED indicates which input has been selected for both outputs.

A note about routing switchers
The unit listed here is a TRUE matrix routing switcher. It allows you to take ANY of the four (4) inputs and route it to the ANY of the two (2) outputs, independent of each other. It can also route the same input to both outputs if needed. In other words, you can also choose to have both outputs display the same input selection at the same time. There are a lot of devices listed on eBay that only allow you to select any of the inputs BUT it routes the signal to ALL outputs. 
Before you purchase a different router, ask the seller this question (cut and paste): “Can I route any of the inputs to any of the outputs independently or does the input I select go to ALL outputs?
