As stated in instructions:
"Most of the tassels are made using several kinds of yarn. Embroidery floss is used for all the flowers except the white ones and then size 10 crochet thread is used. #7 hook is used for embroidery floss and size 10 thread."
Besides all the pattern instructions for making all these beautiful flower bouquets, there are also instructions for making a tassel stand, starching the flowers with spray starch and optional instructions for painting the flowers. I have included pictures above of all 8 patterns and have put the name of each bouquet below the picture.
As Stated By Annie Potter on Inside Cover:
"Flowers bringany place where they appear and I can't think of anyone who doesn't enjoy them. They are the most given of all gifts.
Now you can "grow" some flowers that will last for generations. When finished they are like little art pieces that make exquisite decorations for your home and wonderful gifts for your friends. You can frame them, hang them in windows, use for curtain tie backs, or put them on tassel stands and set them anywhere you would a beautiful vase of flowers.
Crocheting with embroidery floss gives you an unlimited range of colors for your flowers. It's a little different at first, but you will get use to it very quickly."
