Auction for 28 AFGHANI MIXED COINS ON STRING. You will receive the 28 coins on string shown in the photo. Coins are mostly silver color with golden colored accents. Coins have soldered loops and are easy to sew by hand. Great for making tribal dance bras or hip scarves. These coins are heavier than the lightweight imitation or costuming coins. COMPOSITION: Base metal alloy containing copper, brass, nickel and other metals. SIZE: Approximately US dime sized coins or 3/8 inch diameter. CONDITION: Good to fair condition despite age and wear. Many coins have discoloration, rust and/or patina and are not in perfect condition. You can clean them by soaking in Tarn-X for a minute or two (maximum) and then washing with anti-bacterial soap and water. Dry on paper towels. Mixed coins range from 5 to 15 years old.
