This Amato Darkroom Safelight was manufactured in Germany.
It is a normal screw-in appliance that uses up to a 15 watt regular light bulb inside. The filter body screws off and the bulb is mounted inside the cover. The bulb is NOT included with this item.
It is an OC filter intended for use in the darkroom with black and white polycontrast papers.
There are a couple of scrapes on the filter body and the ceramic insulator is chipped but in no way interferes with normal operation. I used it exactly as it is for some time with complete darkroom safety.
