Autograph given to JULIA MARLOWE by W.J. ROLFE Shakespeare. Nice association inscription removed from an unidentified volume signed by the Shakespearean scholar and editor William J. Rolfe to Julia Marlowe, reading entirely in his hand: “Mrs. Julia Marlowe Taber, with the compliments of W.J. Rolfe Jan. 1895.” Trimmed to approximately 4 1/2” x 3”. A little faded and perhaps lightly worn, but good overall. Slight discoloration on the (blank) back. Authenticity guaranteed. Seller is a member of PADA (Professional Autograph Dealers Association), ABAA, and ILAB. Residents of New York State will be charged sales tax. Julia Marlowe (August 17, 1866 – November 12, 1950) was an English-born American actress known for her interpretations of William Shakespeare.
