• A Diesel Powered Generator is by far the best choice for off grid power production. Diesel fuel has a much longer shelf life than gasoline, is not dangerous like propane or natural gas, and diesel is cheaper as it can be purchased for off road use, no tax when not used  in a highway type vehicle. A diesel generator will operate on half the fuel per KW as a gasoline or propane generator. The cheap gas and propane units sold in home improvement stores are for standby power only. They are made for use during intermittant power outages which are for a couple of hours at a time. You will be lucky to get 700 to 1000 hours before they are in need of major repairs. Any generator that is advertised as standby power, means just that, they are for minimal power production, for very short periods of time.  Our units are Prime Power Producers and are capable of operating  your home or business for prolonged periods of time. If you live in a hurricane prone area, as you know, power is out for weeks, not hours.  These diesel genenerators are heavy duty and will weigh well over a ton. They are approximatly 8ft long 3.5 ft high and 3ft wide.
•  The engines 485D, 4 cylinder Diesels, manufactured by Yang Dong Weichai, and are a direct copy of the Perkins Diesel. They have been around for 35+ years. There are literally hundreds of thousands of these generators operating worldwide, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. They are used extensively in  Oil Feilds, Mining operations, remote vallages, and work camps, where power is not available but dependability is a must. They are very simple to operate, maintain, and repair.  They come with complete manuals and will need nothing but oil, antifreeze, and battery electrolite (acid), when you get your new genset. 
• The generator heads are the LEROY SOMER STYLE, HEAVY DUTY with AVR, this  is  very well known and the most efficient and trouble free of all designs.
• Parts are readily available through us, but are available almost everywhere, so you are not limited to one source .
• 1000 hour or 1 year parts warranty. We do not warranty labor.
• These units will run for 20,000 to 30,000 hours without major repairs other that routine maintenance.

Sound Attenuated Gensets are in weathertite enclosures and are among the quietest units made, 58db at 20ft.

  They are equiped with  spin on fuel and oil filters that are available at most auto parts stores.
