This is a solid mahogany drop lid desk made by Davis Cabinet Company in 1949. It is from the Lillian Russell Group and finished in a beautiful deep reddish brown mahogany.  The tag on it calls it aged mahogany.  This is an unusual piece, as there was not much made in mahogany. 36 wide, 40 high, 20 deep.

We accept Paypal, money order, cashiers check, and personal check. If you would prefer you may also call our gallery to submit payment using your Visa or Mastercard. Please allow 10 business days for personal checks to clear our bank before item is shipped. KY residents please add 6% sales tax to your total. By bidding on this auction you are entering into a binding contract. We reserve the right to re-list or sell this item if payment is not received within 10 days of auction close and /or if no response to our confirmation email is received within 5 days of auction close. If you do not intend to purchase and pay for this item, please do not bid. Also, we reserve the right to end our listing early if the item sells in our gallery.

Our shipping is handled on an individual item basis. Please allow 14 days for handling. We use Vintage Transport (blanket wrap carrier), RL Carriers (freight), Danville Mailing Center and our own truck. If for some reason you are not satisfied with the shipping quote we provide you are more than welcome to coordinate your own shipping arrangements. We will be happy to pack your item and have it ready for pickup by your designated carrier, however there will be a $50.00 handling charge added to your total for packing and materials. Our freight carriers require a phone number for delivery, please provide that number @ checkout. If you choose inside delivery service please be aware that someone must be present to help the driver unload your shipment and carry it just inside the premises. It is not the drivers responsibility to place the item in your home.
