This Sewing Machine has an 7 1/2" gate (throat space from needle to throat), a 5/16" Pressure Foot lift (more than 1/4 inch) and stitches up to 4 stitches per inch at longest, and as many as 20 per inch at shortest.

5000 RPM VERY STRONG MOTOR   This Sewing Machine Sews Straight Stitch and Reverse   This Sewing Machine uses needles sizes 134 LR or R, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22  and will accept regular home needles as well.

  This Sewing Machine uses #69-#92 weight Nylon Upholstery Thread (it will also accept home threads as well).

 As you can see by the pictures the TENSIONS are balanced perfectly top and bottom for a Beautiful Stitch. 

This Sewing Machine has all Metal Linkage with a Cleated Belt System so there is no slippage of the handwheel when sewing Thicker Materials.
