Muddy Waters is another true American Master.  From the cotton fields of Mississippi to the gin joints of Chicago, McKinley Morganfield evloved from an acoustical blues guitarist into the first electric bluesman. The shock and awe from that transformation was not unlike that of Bob Dylan when he changed from folksy, Woodie Guthrie sound-alike to Electric Rebel at the Newport Jazz and Folk Festival in 1965.  Muddy Waters was and is a musician to reckoned with...now and forever.
