Marc L. Andreessen is an entrepreneur, investor, and blogger. His current focus is Ning, a consumer Internet company founded in late 2004 that is building a next-generation platform for social networking. Prior to Ning, Andreessen co-founded Opsware (formerly known as Loudcloud) and Netscape. Opsware, which created the datacenter automation software market, was acquired by Hewlett-Packard in 2007 for more than $1.6 billion. Netscape, which was founded in 1994, pioneered today's commercial Internet and invented or co-invented such technologies as JavaScript, SSL and RSS, and helped Internet standards such as HTML, HTTP, Java, SMTP, IMPA and LDAP become commercially mainstream. Netscape was acquired in 1998 by America Online for more than $4.2 billion. Andreessen subsequently served as AOL's Chief Technology Officer until September 1999. In addition to eBay, Mr. Andreessen currently serves on the boards of Facebook, Stanford Hospital, and Room to Read. Mr. Andreessen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

William C. Ford, Jr. has served as a director of eBay since July 2005. Mr. Ford has served as Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company, a company that engages in the manufacture and distribution of automobiles, since October 2001. Mr. Ford has held a number of management positions within Ford, including Vice President — Commercial Truck Vehicle Center. Mr. Ford has been a member of the company's board since 1988, was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors in September 1998, and became Executive Chairman of the Company in September 2006. Mr. Ford also serves as Chairman of the Board's Environmental and Public Policy committee and as a member of the Finance Committee. Mr. Ford also is Vice Chairman of The Detroit Lions, Inc., Chairman of the Detroit Economic Club, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Henry Ford. He also is Vice Chairman of Detroit Renaissance. Mr. Ford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University and a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Dawn G. Lepore has served as a director of eBay since December 1999. Ms. Lepore serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board for drugstore.com, inc., a leading online retailer of health, beauty, vision, and pharmacy solutions since 2004. Ms. Lepore formerly served as Vice Chairman of Technology, Operations, Administration, Strategy and Active Trader for The Charles Schwab Corporation. She was also a member of Schwab's Executive Committee and a Trustee of Schwab Funds. In her twenty-one years with Schwab, Lepore held a wide variety of roles and responsibilities, including serving as Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Information Technology. Ms. Lepore also serves on the board of The New York Times Company. Ms. Lepore holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College.

Pierre M. Omidyar founded eBay as a sole proprietorship in September 1995. Mr. Omidyar has been a director and Chairman of the Board since eBay's incorporation in May 1996 and also served as its Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and President from inception to February 1998, November 1997 and August 1996, respectively. Prior to founding eBay, Mr. Omidyar was a developer services engineer at General Magic, a mobile communications platform company, from December 1994 to July 1996. Mr. Omidyar co-founded Ink Development Corp. (later renamed eShop) in May 1991 and served as their software engineer from May 1991 to September 1994. Prior to co-founding Ink, Mr. Omidyar was a developer for Claris, a subsidiary of Apple Inc., and for other Macintosh-oriented software development companies. Mr. Omidyar is currently co-founder and chairman of Omidyar Network, a philanthropic investment firm committed to creating self-empowerment and opportunity for individuals to improve their lives on a global scale. Mr. Omidyar serves on the Board of Trustees of Tufts University, Omidyar-Tufts Microfinance Fund, Santa Fe Institute, and as a director of Meetup, Inc. Mr. Omidyar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Tufts University.

Richard T. Schlosberg, III has served as a director of eBay since March 2004. From May 1999 to January 2004, Mr. Schlosberg served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, a private family foundation. Prior to joining the foundation, Mr. Schlosberg was Executive Vice President of The Times Mirror Company and publisher and Chief Executive Officer of the Los Angeles Times. Prior to that, he served in the same role at the Denver Post. Mr. Schlosberg serves on the board of directors of Edison International. Mr. Schlosberg is also a member of the USO World Board of Governors, a trustee of Pomona College, founding Director of the U.S. Air Force Academy Endowment, a national board member of the Smithsonian Institution and the National Air and Space Museum. Mr. Schlosberg is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and holds an M.B.A. degree with honors from the Harvard Business School.

Philippe E. M. Bourguignon has served as a director of eBay since December 1999. Mr. Bourguignon has been Vice Chairman of Revolution Resorts, a division of Revolution LLC, a company focused on health, living, and resort investments and operations, since January 2006. From April 2004 to January 2006, Mr. Bourguignon served as Chairman of Aegis Media France, a media communications and market research company. From September 2003 to March 2004, Mr. Bourguignon was Co-Chief Executive Officer of The World Economic Forum (The DAVOS Forum). From August 2003 to October 2003, Mr. Bourguignon served as Managing Director of The World Economic Forum. From April 1997 to January 2003, Mr. Bourguignon served as Chairman of the Board of Club Méditerranée S.A., a resort operator. Prior to his appointment at Club Méditerranée S.A., Mr. Bourguignon was Chief Executive Officer of Euro Disney S.A., the parent company of Disneyland Paris, since 1993, and Executive Vice President of The Walt Disney Company (Europe) S.A. since October 1996. Mr. Bourguignon was named President of Euro Disney in 1992, a post he held through April 1993. He joined The Walt Disney Company in 1988 as head of Real Estate Development. Mr. Bourguignon holds a Masters Degree in Economics at the University of Aix-en-Provence and holds a post-graduate diploma from the Institut d'Administration des Enterprises (IAE) in Paris.

David M. Moffett has served as a director of eBay since June 2007. In September 2008, Mr. Moffett was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Freddie Mac. From August 2007 to September 2008, Mr. Moffett served as Senior Advisor at the Carlyle Group. Mr. Moffett has more than 30 years of strategic finance and operational experience in banking and payment processing. Mr. Moffett joined Star Banc Corporation in 1993 as CFO and played integral roles as Star Banc Corporation acquired Firstar in 1998, which then acquired U.S. Bancorp in February 2001, retaining the U.S. Bancorp name. As Vice Chairman and CFO of U.S. Bancorp, Mr. Moffett successfully managed both organic- and acquisition-fueled growth strategies. He was a financial architect of more than 30 acquisitions and helped the company grow from less than $1 billion to approximately $20 billion in revenue and less than $1 billion to $60 billion in market capitalization. Prior to 1993, Mr. Moffett held executive level positions at some of the nation's leading financial services companies, including Bank of America and Security Pacific Corp. Mr. Moffett currently serves on the boards of MBIA, Building Materials Holding Corporation (BMHC) and E.W. Scripps Company. Mr. Moffett holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Oklahoma and a master's degree from Southern Methodist University.

Thomas J. Tierney has served as a director of eBay since March 2003. Mr. Tierney is the Chairman and Co-Founder of The Bridgespan Group, an independent non-profit organization designed to provide general management consulting services to the non-profit sector, and has been its Chairman of the Board since 1999. More recently, he led the development of Bridgestar, a nonprofit Bridgespan initiative dedicated to enhancing and increasing leadership talent for non-profits. Prior to founding Bridgespan, Mr. Tierney served as Chief Executive Office of Bain & Company, a consulting firm, from June 1992 to January 2000. Mr. Tierney frequently speaks and writes on a variety of topics related to nonprofit leadership. He lectures at Harvard Business School and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Mr. Tierney also co-authored a popular book about organization and strategy entitled Aligning the Stars, which was published in April 2002 by Harvard Business School Press. Before entering business school, Mr. Tierney served as a field engineer for Bechtel International in North Africa. Mr. Tierney also serves on a number of nonprofit boards and advisory groups, including National Board of The Nature Conservancy, The National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education, the Hoover Institution, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, and The Harvard Business School Initiative on Social Enterprise. Mr. Tierney is past director of many other nonprofit organizations, including United Way of the Bay Area, United Way of Massachusetts Bay, The Committee for Economic Development, Catholic Charities, WGBH, and The National Academies. Mr. Tierney received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with highest distinction from the University of California at Davis and his MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.

Margaret C. Whitman was President and Chief Executive Office of eBay from March 1998 to March 2008, when she stepped down from her role. Ms. Whitman has been a director since March 1998, and continues to serve in that capacity. Ms. Whitman joined eBay when it was a small auction website with 30 employees and revenues of more than $4 million. With her expertise in brand building at top consumer companies, Ms. Whitman helped this Internet pioneer evolve into an unmatched global ecommerce engine that continues to influence and reshape the way people trade, pay and communicate around the world. In 1979, Ms. Whitman began her career at Procter & Gamble and then worked at Bain & Company, for eight years, where she rose to the level of vice president. After Bain, Ms. Whitman went to work for The Walt Disney Company, an entertainment company, as Senior Vice President, Marketing, Disney Consumer Products. Ms. Whitman was then employed by The Stride Rite Corporation, a footwear company, in various capacities, including President, Stride Rite Children's Group and Executive Vice President, Product Development, Marketing & Merchandising, Keds Division and then went to work as President and CEO of Florists Transworld Delivery (FTD), the world's largest floral products company. Before coming to eBay, Ms. Whitman was with toymaker Hasbro Inc., overseeing global management and marketing of two of the world's best-known children's brands, Playskool and Mr. Potato Head. Ms. Whitman also serves on the boards of the eBay Foundation, Procter & Gamble and DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. Ms. Whitman earned an Artium Baccalaureatus of Economics degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Fred D. Anderson has served as a director of eBay since July 2003. Mr. Anderson has been a Managing Director of Elevation Partners, a private equity firm focused on the media and entertainment industry, since July 2004. From March 1996 to June 2004, Mr. Anderson served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Apple Computer, Inc., a manufacturer of personal computers and related software. Prior to joining Apple, Mr. Anderson was Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Automatic Data Processing, Inc., an electronic transaction processing firm, from August 1992 to March 1996. Prior to joining APD, Mr. Anderson held several domestic and international executive positions at MAI Systems Corporate, including President and Chief Operating Officer as well as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He also served as a member of the company's board of directors. Earlier he was a manager in the consulting division of Coopers & Lybrand. He served as captain in the U.S. Air Force and was a certified public accountant in the State of California and a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council. Mr. Anderson also serves on the Board of Directors of Palm, Inc. and Move, Inc. Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Whittier College and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Edward W. Barnholt has served as a director of eBay since April 2005. Mr. Barnholt was President and Chief Executive Office of Agilent Technologies, Inc., a measurement company, from May 1999 until March 2005, and served as Chairman of the Board of Agilent from November 2002 until March 2005. Before being named Agilent's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Barnholt served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Hewlett-Packard Company's Measurement Organization from 1998 to 1999. From 1990 to 1998, he served as General Manager of Hewlett Packard's Company's Test and Measurement Organization. He was elected Senior Vice President of Hewlett-Packard Company in 1993 and an Executive Vice President in 1996. Mr. Barnholt also serves on the Board of Directors of KLA-Tencor Corporation and Adobe Systems Incorporated and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Packard Foundation. Mr. Barnholt holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University.

Scott D. Cook has served as a director of eBay since April 2005. Mr. Cook is the founder of Intuit, Inc., a financial software developer. Mr. Cook has been a director of Intuit since March 1985 and is currently Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Intuit. From March 1993 to July 1998, Mr. Cook served as Chairman of the Board of Intuit. From March 1984 to April 1994, Mr. Cook served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Intuit. Mr. Cook also serves on the Board of Directors of The Procter & Gamble Company. Mr. Cook holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. degree from the Harvard Business School.

John J. Donahoe became President and CEO of eBay Inc. on March 31, 2008, succeeding Meg Whitman, who stepped down from the role after 10 years, and who continues to serve on the Company's Board of Directors. As President and CEO, Mr. Donahoe has global responsibility for growing each of the company's business units, which include eBay Marketplaces, PayPal and Skype. Mr. Donahoe came to eBay in February 2005 as President of eBay Marketplaces, responsible for all elements of eBay's global ecommerce businesses. In this role, he focused on expanding eBay's core business, which accounts for a large percentage of the company's revenues. Mr. Donahoe also oversaw a number of strategic acquisitions, including Shopping.com and StubHub, and classifieds sites, such as Gumtree and LoQUo. During the three years he served as President of Marketplaces, revenues and profits for this division doubled. Prior to eBay, Mr. Donahoe spent more than 20 years at Bain & Company, a worldwide consulting firm based in Boston. Starting as an Associate Consultant, Mr. Donahoe rose to become the firm's CEO where he oversaw Bain's 30 offices and 3,000 employees. In addition to serving on eBay Inc.'s Board of Directors, Mr. Donahoe is also on the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College. Mr. Donahoe received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
